Support Center
At Ground Zero in New York City.

MFI
- Who is there
to help the Media? The victims have many support teams
who offer assistance, food, health care, counseling, housing
and encouragement.
|
A trainer for
disaster teams said this, "We are there to help the
victims and families. If we see someone behind the
television camera with tears rolling down his face, we don't
care. As a rescue team we aren't there to help the
media. It is up to them to raise up caring groups to
care for their own. MFI needs to come along side them
and care for them."
National Emergency Response Team instructor, John Oas
That is the purpose of the
MFI Media Support Center. We want to be there on
location beside the media, helping them to cope with the
emotional and physical challenges of the situation. We want to
provide both practical and spiritual help. As Christians
we are ready to pray with them and help them sort out answers
to core questions.
If you would like to help the
MFI Media Support Center be able to be on location in a
greater number of situations, please contact the MFI office.
Funding is the limiting factor. We can serve only
as often as we have funds to cover the costs. |
