Media Chaplain Support  (MCS)

What is it?

Media Fellowship International

There are times when we would like to talk to someone confidentially - times when we would like some advice or counsel from a person who is not too close to the situation to be objective, and someone who will look at it as a Christian would, someone who can help us sort out, "What would God want me to do?"

In the past, the five major fields of Chaplaincy traditionally included law enforcement/military, nursing home and long-term care facilities, hospitals/hospice facilities, industrial/occupational and prison/jail chaplaincy.  Today we know that there are many other opportunities for chaplains such as corporate, casino, media, crisis management and intervention, to name a few.

A Chaplain is not assigned to a specific church or location so he/she is able to be mobile.  The influence of an MCS Chaplain can extend well beyond the walls of the traditional church.

MCS will provide training and information to qualified candidates to ensure their professional competencies based on Biblical principles.

MCS also ministers to the media and entertainment professionals in the key arts and media cities worldwide who are seeking a safe spiritual haven with the hopes of transforming them into Christian leaders who serve, challenge and influence.
