Seven members of the MFI Support team tell what they have learned in Blacksburg.

The number of copycat incidents is indicative of the need for us to be alerted to the kinds of terror that may confront us.   We depend on timely and factual communication.

MFI Media Support Center - Hurricane Katrina  2005

Pastor Bob and the MEDIA SUPPORT TEAM were in Baton Rouge where they set up a Media Support Center.   Journal

MFI provides a service to the news teams on site at scenes of disaster and crisis.  The MEDIA SUPPORT CENTER is staffed by members who understand the challenges of the media and are trained to encourage and support.  (See Pastor Bob's Katrina Journal for stories)

MFI Focus

1. Our focus is on reaching professionals in media and entertainment. This includes television, film, radio, print, theater, music and the internet.

2. Our scope is affirmed as worldwide. We actively claim the "International" part of our name, "Media Fellowship International."

3. Our purpose is summed up in the words, "for Christ." We claim the media community for Christ. The message of forgiveness and salvation precedes the social and moral improvements that we pray will be evident in the media products of the future.
